R2 - Rare Dos that has been aged in Maker’s Mark barrels for at least 2 years. With Maker’s Mark being a wheated bourbon, it was an ideal barrel for extended aging. No adjunctions, just all barrel all day.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, coffee and molasses. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long roasted, vanilla, chocolate and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, bourbon, alcohol, barrel, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long long duration, chocolate, roasted, coffee, alcohol, bourbon, chocolate - vanilla.
