R2 - Rare Dos that has been aged in Maker’s Mark barrels for at least 2 years. With Maker’s Mark being a wheated bourbon, it was an ideal barrel for extended aging. No adjunctions, just all barrel all day.

MBCC 2019. Heavy, sweetish and woody with loads of barrel notes, oak, hints of booze and roastiness.

Tap. Black color with no head. Aroma is hazelnuts, cream, thick molten chocolate, very sweet. Taste is chocolate, hazelnuts, cream. Thick oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Tasty, but very sweet.

Tap @MBCC2019, Blue Session. Black, no head. Aroma has bourbon, choc, dark malt. Sweet flavour, choch, caramel, bourbon booze. Nice warming booze.

Sampled @ MBCC, blue session 2019. Poured pitch black in color. Quite woody aroma and flavor, heavy barrel , some vanilla and dark chocolate. Hops, roasted malts and sweetness. Dryer finish with barrel notes. Heavy.

MBCC. Black with a small light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and heavy bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with a warming alcohol. Oily. 100519
