A delicious simple traditional ESB. We used Talisman True British Ale malt as the base, giving this beer its light copper colour with a malty sweetness. East Kent Goldings hops impart a nice subtle bitterness that earth and just a bit spicy.

473mL can, pours a clear dark amber enthusiast a small beige head. Nose has plenty of English bread malt, light toffee, and a touch of hops. Flavour is not particularly on target, with dry bready caramel, but not particularly any English character (hops nor malt). Clean and drinkable but not particularly convincing.

473ml can. Pours a hazy copper with a small, foamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted caramel malt, nuts, yeast and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of biscuity pale malt, caramel, orange, date and spicy hops in a dry, bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Clean, flavourful and easy to drink.

Chestnut, small tan head. Light malt nose and palate. Hints of fruit with very late medium strength hop bitterness... Good session beer A standard bitter, NOT an ESB

Okay brownish copper body and decent foam. Mellow caramelly malt on the nose, semi-sweet, a little soft. Flavour is nice maltiness, smooth with crisp carbonation. Hazelnut lingers, brown sugar. Easy and simple, but gets the job done.

Draught at the brewery
Beautiful amber colour, clean. Biscuity, toasty malts, the yeast is slightly earthy (expected), the body is lean, light fruitiness, dates, some of that Bridge house typical smell too. Solid.
