This fudge-licious beast with cacao nibs, vanilla, and milk sugar has been resting in rye whiskey barrels from NY Distilling Co. for 8 months and is now ready to wreak havoc on your flavorbuds. Pours motor-oil thick, with notes of dark chocolate truffles, brownie batter, blackstrap molasses, and boozy rye.

From tap at KCBC, New York. Big milk chocolate aroma with a rye whiskey barrel finish. Some notes of tobacco, mocha, coffee, light chocolate syrup. Sweet, nice roasty bitterness, a little alcohol but not too much. Full body. Nice! I like the balanced barrel influence here.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black. Chocolate, whisky, vanilla, sweet, plum, fig. Medium body. Good.
