Pour is a hazy yellow with almost no head. Aroma is simple, some wheat and very little berry. Flavor is more berry than wheat but this is still just an average fruit beer as nothing really stands out. Kinda plain and boring. What is bog myrtle?

2006 x-mas gift set, enjoying it in 2007...cloudy golden color..mild aroma thick appearance...slightly creamy yet thin...never has gooseberry so I donβt have anything to compare it to...its nice and easy to drink...refreshing for a nice warm spring day (some would suggest summer)...a slight sourness and a spattering of lacing

a slightly clowded amber in colour with a fantastic aroma, quite sweet with some maltyness.3.4 Tk2 Bottle at home 11/07 ...Golden yellow , Stunning pine and lime fruit nose ... quite sweet ... good lime citric base with good depth ... mellow fruity tones... this beer just seems alive and parkling in the mouth. 3.9 cask at cloisters ... very pale yellow ... small white head ... soft sweet gooseberry... floral pine nose ... creamy sustardy front ... in fact rubarb and custard sweeties ... floral fruits 3.6

bottle - Pours clear and straw colored with a thin head. Smells sweet and malty. The flavor is malt and those mild, sour gooseberries. The body is on the thin side while the finish is actually kind of refreshing. Not bad.

Bottled. Golden, unclear ale, topped off by an off-white head. Fruity and honey-ish aroma with some berries. The flavor has a tad sourness, else it is malty and honey-ish, with some bitterness and herbal notes, as well as some sweetness. Medium body. Definately not bad, just a bit odd. Not unexpected from Heather Ales though. (061228)

Bottle: Golden color with a large white head. Nose is minty and spicey, the taste is more sweet with hints of spice and more mint. It would be like a mint julep poured into a budweiser... No hops or malt here, just a yellow liquid impersonating (poorly) beer.

Poured a straw yellow with rosey hues with a slight clumping white head. Sweet, floral, fruity aroma. I donβt usually enjoy these types of beers but I enjoyed the flavor very much. Very subtle and fruity with notes of grapes and honey. Slightly watery on the palate. Far from outstanding but entirely drinkable.
