"The most convivial of ales" as described (and often imbibed) by 'The Bard' himself has become the adopted beer of the bohemian vagabonds of the Scottish arts scene. A pale golden brew, that is cold stored with gooseberries to deliver a sharp refreshing drinking experience.

Botella de 33 cl. junio 2012. Bastante herbácea y ligeros sabores afrutados. Cuerpo ligero de 5 vol. y bastante fácil de beber. Se podría repetir.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear pale gold, thick white head. Light cereal malt aromas, cornflakes, light fruit. Taste has a bit more going on, gooseberries definitely. Slightly on the sweet side of things, and a building astringent finish. Would be better in the summer for sure, but not bad.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Hazy golden yellow with very minimal white head. Sweet malt and grain aroma. Flavour same with mild hint of what I assume to be gooseberry (a very mild sweet berry-like flavour). Medium body. Very balanced, and refreshing, but quite boring overall. The lager qualities of this beer show through.

Bottle shared on the train from Inverness to Wick, from Tomlinsons as William Brothers Grozet, 20/10/13. Clear pale blonde with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, light citrus, grainy, cereals. Taste comprises pale malts, light caramel, corn, wheat. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light grassy bitterness in the finale. So so affair - not rushing back to this one!

Aroma: Elderflower, tangerine and sour white grapes.
Appearance: Hazy pale golden body with a white fluffy head. No visible carbonation.
Taste: Sharp lemon and juicy grapefruit flavour. Like a lager but with more of a fruity character.
Palate: Medium body with a slightly chalky mouthfeel. Soft carbonation.
Overall: Given its low score, I enjoyed this more than I expected I would. It’s light, fruity and refreshing - an excellent summer beer.
