One of the least ’hoppy’ IPA’s I have tried. Poured well with a nice head. The rest rather uninspiring.

Bottle from Thirsty Craft Beer Shop, Singapore. Golden with a large head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, some hops and cookies. Similar taste. Sweetish and with a fairly bitter finish.

This IPA poured a medium Amber colour with a quick living, off white head. Scents include a little citrus, grass and a bit of hay. Little lacing. First swig was quite bitter with nice citrus hop flavour. A little caramel and juniper. Finish is quite bitter with hop flavour lingering forever. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 7/24/2015. Pours crystal clear deep golden/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.2%. Overall this is a nice IPA. all around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink for the style. Would be a good entry level IPA. Not too bitter; but still has nice hop complexity, with a bit more malt presence. A nicely enjoyable offering.

From a 355ml bottle on 1/9/2016. Pours a clear light golden with a small head. The nose features lots of caramel malt with some pine. The taste is dominated by more caramel malt and some biscuit too, a good dose of sweet fruit, some honey, with some reasonably firm hops balancing things out (the dry hopping is evident). Quite light bodied with average carbonation. This is a slightly unusual, very malt forward IPA, but I really enjoyed it. Don’t get why this is so lowly rated on here.
