A blend of cinnamon and nutmeg combines with roasted caramel malts and fresh apple juice for a warming, spiced taste.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Maierovicz’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear orange-amber. Aroma of caramel, cinnamon and some furitiness. Sweet flavor with caramel, cinnamon and a slightly drier and spicier finish. Medium-bodied.

Deep amber coloured body with a nice thinnish just off-white head. Aroma of oddly enough - light spices, apples, caramel, toffee and quite a bit of brown sugar. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong sweet flavours at first with a big cardboardie malt note then showing quite a bit of caramel sweetness and an odd medicinal flavour. Aftertaste shows the funky cardboardie, stale malt then a lot of brown sugar and deep sweetness and some light spices tucked in at the very end. Overall, an interesting and rather strong caramel and sweetly spiced beer - not very good, but interesting and perhaps worth a try if you like these types of beers, especially seasonally. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased and pulled from a Blue Moon Twelve Pack, purchased from Giant in Arlington, Virginia after a hockey game on 09-October-2013 - Thanks Kevin!

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear red-amber color with a large foamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of mild spice, burnt caramel and a strong meaty/salty note. Weird. The taste is heavy spice, apple, caramel. Thin-watery, high carbonation. This is a train wreck.

Bottle @ home picked up at RJ’s Fort Collins. Pours a clear, golden orange appearance with thin tan head. Spicy, apple fruity, pear, kind of bland aroma. Kind of bready, nutmeg/cinnamon, apple, tangy, fruity flavor. Not super hard to drink but really scroll past-able.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a very dark orange with minimal head. Aroma of pumpkin pie spices and light apple. Taste is light sweet and light tart. Pumpkin pie spices and some tart apple. Minimal caramel. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Better than most blue moon brews.

Pours a hazy dark amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and sweet spices. Light body with a flavor that is not particularly caramel nor apple. Some fruit and sweet spices flavors plus sweet malt. The finish is sweet with a nutmeg and cinnamon aftertaste. Average overall.

On tap at Texas Beerfest. Pours a cloudy amber with a small frothy off white head. The aroma is cinnamon and fruit. Thin mouthfeel with a spicy fruit and caramel. Easy to drink a good spice from Blue Moon.
