House Of Pale is one of the recipes we’ve taken from our beloved mad laboratory in Copenhagen, BRUS. A New England Pale ale with Equanot hops. It’s seen many changes and tweaks over this year, experimenting with hop doses and overall ‘crispiness’ - and now we’re pretty sure we’ve got exactly what we’ve been looking for.

Cloudy beige blond beer, big creamy to aery yellowish head, stable, a bit rocky, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: ooh, nice, lovely, very fruity, a bit malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, resinous, hoppy, dry, a bit spicy, malty, grassy touch. Aftertaste: bit malty, oxidized, decent, not great though, a bit sweet, medicinal bitterness, malty, some citrus, bit of tropical fruits, ok, but not great. A bit disappointing for a To Ol...

Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a fresh, crisp, juicy lemon citrus, light floral, dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A fine session ale.

44cl Blik van Jumbo Eerbeek, To Øl House of Pale. Troebel goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Iets granig, citrus, zweet, grapefruit, ananas, perzik, degelijke bitter. Lichte body. Prima te doen in het voorjaarszonnetje.
