The "i" might be in lower case, but beware - this is a capital beer. Brimming with luscious roasted coffee and chocolate malt flavours drizzled over a scoop of velvety ice cream. iStout Affogato is balanced by a brisk bitterness and bold, hoppy freshness, remixed by the addition of lactose, coffee, and vanilla in the brew.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, beige head. Aroma of chocolate brownie. Very sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Milk chocolate and saccharine, notes of coffee and vanilla. Finishes with aching chemical sweetness. Another stout for kids. I guess lactose and vanilla will destroy any beer.

Panda at home, thanks to Tips, 27/09/21. Black with a good sized tan covering that veers edgewards. Nose carries a solid coffee profile, light spice, chocolate, mellow roast, nutty tones, brown sugar dusting. Taste comprises sweet malts, trace of lactose, coffee bean, chocolate, light roast, charr, toffee, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced warming boost. Solid coffee fuelled impy.

Deep, dark brown, near black, with a small, bubbly beige head and a wonderful aroma of roasted malt, coffee and some sweet caramel. The mouthfeel somehow manages to be both oily and milky, offering up roasted malt flavours of chocolate, coffee and hints of vanilla, before a mellow dry bitterness finishes things off
