The barque OCEAN built in Kristinestad 1858, sailed around the world. In september 1861 she sailed to London but lost some deck cargo in a storm on the North Sea. In December 1861 she left Sunderland for Rangoon in British India with a cargo of coal. She passed Cape of Good Hope and reached her destination after 125 days. In april 1862 the crew noted that the cargo was on fire due to spontaneous combustion. The crew was safe. Some say it's a good idea to have some bottles of Ocean IPA at home as fire insurance, all we know is that this is a great salute to Barque OCEAN.
