Draught (Turku pub crawl with Rofa & Hanna). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, some tart wood and mild toffee tones. Flavour is quite similar to the aroma, but somewhat watery. Feels like this one has something going on with some bacteria. (5 4 6 3 11). Rerate from Bottle@Alko in 2021. New batch clearly. Aroma is espresso beans, roasted malts, chocolate, some slight toffee with ashes and some mild alcohol. Flavour is espresso coffee, some alcohol, toffee, chocolate and mild spiciness. Longlasting roasted/ashy and sweet aftertaste.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 1.1.2030, from Alko, 20210326) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, cocoa powder and ash. Palate was full bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, ashy and bitter. A pleasant burnt brew with notes of chocolate and cocoa powder. The ABV was well hidden. Bit too low carbonation.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Opaque colour, tiny beige head. Toasted, a bit sweet licorice/coffee aroma. Very light body for its ABV. Toasted malts, licorice and coffee in the flavour, low bitterness. Not high octane at all, very watery for its ABV. If it could be more robust ... flavours are kind of ok.
