Brewed with the Christmas dinner in mind! Full of berry flavours with a hint of toffee and coffee, and the lovely warming of the strong alcohol. A special beer for a very special time of the year.

Bottle from Drinkstore, Dublin [251214]
Caramel brown, bit murky, beige head that dissipates
Aroma of sweet fruity caramel, a bit musty, dab of of red berries, some alcohol
Taste - Sweet toffee malts, soft fruits, dab of red berry, some coffee, alcohol prominent at only 6%, malty
Palate - Medium carb and body, bit over fizzy, rather sweet. Finish is a bit too dry, alcohol, some bitter bit metallic coffee in the finish, a tad harsh
Overall - Not a great palate in this beer. Disappointing. Didn’t finish it.
