A brown ale special release from Whiplash which pays tribute to Dingle resident Fungie the bottlenose dolphin who was last seen swimming off the coast of Kerry back on Saturday, October 13. In his memory, Whiplash has brewed a beer they can only assume would impress the famous dolphin – a maple syrup infused Brown Ale. A traditional base of floor malted Maris Otter for an extra biscuity and nutty flavour, some old school Brown Malt, a few Oats, Belgian Aromatic, a light touch of Chocolate Malt and a very, very heavy hand of Maple Syrup.

Can from beerclub. Dark brown with a cream head. Aroma of maple malt. Flavour is chocolate malt, maple on a sweetish bitter fruit base. A lot of flavours here, not sure they all wok together.
