Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is roasted malt with dark chocolate, piney hop, some liquorice, pine resin, touch of citrus. Flavour is bitter with a mild sweetness. Body is medium. On the roasty side, bittersweetish, dark chocolate and pine. Good.

33cl bottle. A very dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee and resinous bitter hops. Taste of roasted dark malt, coffee, ash, bitter resinous hops, spruce, liquorice. Long bitter finish.

Bottle. Dark mahogany, huge beige head. Sweet malts, pine, lime, grassy, soft chocolate and coffee. Medium sweet and bitter. Good black IPA, I really like this style and this is a decent example. Slightly watery maybe.

Bottle picked up at Sterk, Amsterdam, 1st December 2021, swept in just before the lockdown. This one pours blackish, it is liquorice and roasted malts on the nose. Taste is bitter, roasted malts cocoa, not the brightest, earthy. Not bad

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel. Black with a big tan head. Gentle roasted malts with some hops. Sweet taste with low-bitter finish. Not hoppy and roasty enough for me; a bit boring and too safe.
