This clear, amber-colored beer has an earthy, rich flavor and a creamy head. Put your nose above the glass and the aromas of freshly baked bread, banana and ripe fruit will delight you. After each sip you can taste the sweetness of the residual sugar combined with the flavors of apricot and peach. Brouwhoeve Tripel has a delicious balance of refined hop aroma and the characteristic hop bitterness, with a powerful, refreshing aftertaste. At the next restaurant visit you order your Brouwhoeve Tripel to have a nice drink with your food.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. ABV at 6%. Aroma is spicy yeast, pale malt, touch of caramel. Picking up some (dried/sugary) fruity hints. Like the other Brouwhoeve beers, bitter for the style, with a moderate sweetness. Body is medium. Lacks some depth, but likeable Tripel.

Bueno, como siempre pasa con las cervezas Brouwhoeve confusión en los datos acerca de su ABV, 9% indica su ficha de Brewver, 7% en la página web oficial de la cervecera, 6% en la botella... Servida en tulipa, color dorado oscuro, genera gran cantidad de espuma color hueso compacta de excelente conservación. En nariz destacan notas de almíbar, malta, pan, especias y un recuerdo de frutas de hueso maduras. En boca el lúpulo es bastante protagonista, lo cual si bien no es desagradable resulta algo extraño en una tripel... punto amargo alto, herbal, seco. Buena presencia también de especias, particularmente la pimienta. Otros matices que destacan de forma más discreta son las notas afrutadas y la malta, algo sepultada por el ramalazo de lúpulo. Conclusión, no es una tripel 'al uso' ni sigue los caminos mas ortodoxos dentro del estilo, en ocasiones hasta puede recordar más a una craft americana que a una belga...sin embargo como cerveza está muy bien y es muy disfrutable, yo diría incluso que está bastante rica, la encuentro interesante, no está mal.

Color dorado con espuma abundante, color blanquecino. Aroma con leves notas dulzonas y levadura. Sabor alcohólico y levaduras. Final alcohólico y seco.

Bottle shared by Niels. A bit hazy dark golden color, medium sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, quite herbal, light tea and malty bitter. Pretty decent for 6% ABV.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear amber with a white head. Yeasty aroma with some stone fruits. Malty as well. Sweet taste with a light-bitter finish. Decent tripel
