We chose ingredients that were undeniably refreshing: ginger and lemon. To amplify this thirst-quenching quality we chose a locally sourced yeast strain that produces a mild tartness to this finished beer. To soften that tartness and add a touch of electrolytes, we included a small amount of pink Himalayan sea salt. Refreshingly session-able, Breaking Away is the perfect post-ride quencher.

Lemon, ginger, biscuit malt, salt, and straw aroma. Clear pale yellow with giant white head. Lightly sweet lemon, ginger, biscuit malt, mild salty, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Light body. Light but very pleasant.

Can at home. After a heavy dinner this was nice palate cleanser and light refresher. Nose is salty lemon. Tastes of ginger, lemon, salt, funky wood. Similar to a gose.
