It's already well known that we like to borrow stuff from left and right to infuse in our beers, but we're not just reaching blindingly for weeds and spices and hope for the best.

With our sights set on the centuries-old jenever, we summoned up some Dutch courage and brought in tons of resin-forward juniper berries and a bit of lime zest.

No tonic water required.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Slightly hazy yellow. Lime, citric hops, herbal, rather dry, bitterish note. OK and easy-drinking.

CAN @ home. Hazy bright gold, off-white head. Smells of tart citrus, citrus peel, pretty strong juniper resins, as well as soem soft white wine tartness. Similar taste - a soft and dry, pithy and tart flavour with a gentle juniper resiny bitterness. Great balance, great drinkability. Excellent. 3,8/5.

DRAFT at Cluj Craft Beer Festival 2019. Some vague juniper and stale fruit. Overall, mild, refreshing, simplistic quencher . 3,5/5.
