Bottle at The Garrick, pours black with a large off-white head. Nose is fairly restrained, with light roasted malt. Flavour brings out roasted malt, toasted crusty bread and some metallic notes. Nothing much doing here. It's pleasant enough.

Bottle from Mchughs. Murky brownish black with a tan head. Aroma is creamy malt. Flavour is dry toasted malt, a little ash, dark berries on a dry sweetish finish. Nice.
