Bottle from a Morrisons in Glasgow. Amber in colour, with moderate carbonation. Caramel sweetness, earthy rye malts, a slight toastiness and some leafy hops, leading to a dryish finish. too sweet for me.

Sampled at Craft Beer Festival Düsseldorf 2017. Clear, dark amber with a beige head. Sweetish, herbal-grassy and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, orange jam and some tea leaves. Sweetish, malty and slightly herbal-grassy taste of orange jam, tea leaves and some caramel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather dry and herbal-grassy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle at Urban Bar & Grill, Glasgow. The rye and malts really come through in the amber. A red tinged amber. Creamy head. Medium bitter. Well ballanced, well rounded mouthfeel. Good stuff.

Bottle at the Alexander Graham Bell. Appearance - deep copper to red. Clear with a very slim head. Nose - red fruits and light spice from the rye. Taste - red fruits plus oranges. Rye spice again with biscuits at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - quite gnarly but good.
