On tap @ Ölhus Stockholm, Helsinki. Black beer with no head. Aroma and taste has malts, oak, coffee, coconut and vanilla. Sweet and creamy, soft overall. Full body.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is coconut, brownie cookie, burnt sugar, honey. Taste is bounty bar, coconut cake, cocoa, lots of cookies, very rich. Very thick oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. I like the character, this is about as good as a coconut cookie stout can go without becoming overwhelmingly sugary.

Draught @ Panema, Helsinki. Sweet, heavy and roasty with loads of coconut, butter, cocoa, vanilla, chocolate and toffee notes. Quite a lot of coconut here.

Keg @ Panema. As Eidolon. Poured pitch black with a thin brown head. Heavy on the coconut. Coconut flakes and malts, chocolate. Chocolate cake, coconut, sweetness, caramel. Long sweet finish.

Keg at Tilt, Birmingham City Centre. Ominously dark brown with a small and uneven tan head. Lots of coconut, cake mixture, salted caramel in the aroma. The taste is intensely sweet as expected, but the sugary notes dwindle down and leave an exposed bitter hop character. Vanilla and coconut macaroon in the aftertaste. Oily, syrupy body with low carbonation. Masterful.
