Score
6.74
ABV: 5.5% IBU: - Ticks: 3
Full bodied with a distinctive earthy rye and dark chocolate character.
Third Circle Rye Stout is not your traditional Irish stout. Roasted, chocolate and flaked rye combine with a subtle Belgian yeast to produce a rich, full bodied beer. Spicy and earthy rye leads into dark chocolate and liquorice note; complex but very drinkable.

Ingredients: Water, malted barley, malted wheat, roasted rye, chocolate rye, flaked rye and Belgian ale yeast.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Dark brown to black. Aroma of roast, chocolate, nuts. Flavor is a bit sweetish, rather dry, roasty, with some rye, chocolate, coffee, nuts, some rye, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.
