Draft at Gil's. Cloudy golden pour, thin skin of tight white foam. Savory aroma, pine cones, allspice. Taste is winter spice, orange peel, citrus. Tasty little number.

Not nearly as good as the original. Poured red brown with a large foamy tan head that lingered. Yeasty and malty with faint caramel, fruit and astringency. Medium finish and body.

Clear amber pour. Thin foam around the rim. Sweet nutty malt with bread or biscuit underneath. Sweet nutty palate. Light bodied and light carbonation

Bottle. Ladny machoniowy kolor, w smaku rodzynki, nieco wzmacnianego wina, ale alko, spoko nie wyczuwalne, karmelowa i lekko piernikowa nuta, ale bez czekolady, jest lekko wytrawnie i gorzkawo na samiuski koniec. Piana ladnie otula te bursztynowa czerwien.

Bottled. Poured a reddish color. Aroma was some floral and malty notes, taste was similar. Not very bockish, not bad for Sam though.

Bottle. Aroma-malty, roasty. Apperance-clear dark orangeish brown color. Taste-malty, slightly sweet. Nice beer.

Upfront grassy hops, some sweet bready malts, and a touch of caramel. Flavor is a touch bitter with some light cereals. Im really not getting much wheat, i thought it was a dunkler bock before i looked it up.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Light brown beer with a pretty limited head. Spices are not very prominent. But the nice aroma hops shines through. Sweetish, fullbodied beer with som bitterness on the palate. Good choice as a winter session beer. 3.5

Draft @ Gabby O‘Haras, NYC. Clear amber with a proper white head. Aroma of caramel and citrus fruits. Taste of malts, metal, citrus fruits, caramel and a general sense of spiciness though I couldn’t detect ginger nor cinnamon. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok but I can‘t fight the impression that this particular beer might have tasted better somewhere else (staff and atmosphere were very friendly, mind you).
