A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of spicy and mild herbal hops, pale malt. Taste of dry straw, grains, moderate spicy bitterness.

Als Wälder Edel Pils mit 5,1 % erstanden. Klare, goldene Farbe mit kleiner, weißer Schaumkrone. Dezenter, grasiger Hopfen und eine leichte Malznote im Geruch. Malzig-hopfger Geschmack, der allerdings stellenweise fast zu dünn wirkt. Leichter Körper, dafür sehr süffig und für manche wohl zu malzbetont.

Bottle (thanks to Stefan !): Golden, smaller lacy head; light aromatic hoppy nose; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; papery traces in the lingering hoppy-malty finish. O.K., not too great...........

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, greenish golden colour with a short foamy white head. Slightly sweet and doughy malt aroma with herbal, slightly grassy hoppy notes. Sweet-bitter flavour, soft malty base with herbal hops, getting stronger and slightly grassy towards the moderately dry and bitter hoppy finish. A bit imbalanced but otherwise pretty drinkable (14.08.08).

bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear pale golden colour, large and creamy head. Hoppy nose. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty with very aromatic grassy hops. Hints of lemon, slightly fruity. Lovely lingering hoppy-bitter dry finish. Great stuff.
