Juice Machine was originally devised and brewed to support our very first trip to Extreme Beer Festival in 2014. We’ve revived and tweaked the original recipe on a 30 BBL scale and brought new life and experience into the idea of an obscenely hop saturated yet juicy and delicate Double IPA. It is essentially a marriage of the King Julius malt bill with a hopping intensity schedule similar to that of Very Green. The use of Magnum, Columbus, Amarillo, Citra, and Galaxy creates perhaps our most complex drink with unapologetic flavors of tangerine, mango, lime, papaya, and grapefruit with waves of dankness. Hop burp nirvana, indeed.

Can, by way of a trade with Leighton. Cheers! Fully hazy, dirty, dark gold. Slim, lacing, off white head. Nose has fruity toffee. Baked pineapple and citrus. Taste is sweet and chewy. Some scorched citrus bitterness. Thick and chewy on the palate. Heavy mix of sweet and bitter to finish. Oxidised, somehow. Fuck.

So good! Pours a very hazy, pinapple-orange, with good-sized and lasting head. Aroma is chock full of tropical and citrus fruits, with some green onion, and basement dankness. Flavor is tropical fruit, tropical fruit, and more tropical fruit. Very soft mouthfeel, with a definite underlying sweetness. There's a touch of bitter, pine/spruce hops in the finish. Wish this was more widely available and easier to get my hands on.

Poured from a 16 oz can. Aroma is very hop forward with lots of tropical fruit and citrus notes. Lots of mango, papaya, guava, melon, orange and tangerine. Light background malt notes with some cracker and biscuit. Pours a very hazy, dull, pale, golden hay with a medium small, thick, white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Medium light lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt and biscuit notes. Lots of hop flavors with mango, papaya, guava, and other tropical fruit. Medium light citrus notes with some tangerine and mandarin. Medium light bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice IPA. So much hop aroma and flavor.

Bottle split at Level 42, massive thanks to Leighton, 20/10/16. Murky orange with a decent off white head. Nose is watermelon, dank notes, straw, grapefruit, pine, skunky hops. Taste comprises sticky trops, grapefruit, pine, citric tinged straw, dank strokes, melon, tangerine, mandatin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dank hop finale. Xolid easy drinking DIPA ... way lower than the suggested ABV.

Can shared in London - picked up via trade in the US. Pours murky gold with a frothy, white head. Yep, big and juicy in the nose, lots of tangerine, pale malts, mango, papaya. Medium sweet flavour with more plump, juicy hop character, buckets of mango and papaya, fresh tangerine, orange, peach. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with faint piney resin, lots more chewy orange, fleshy tangerine, melon, mango. Definitely does what it says on the tin. Wonderful juice bomb. Super drinkable.

Can, massive thanks to LKS at level 42. It pours murky dirty blonde with a thick, foamy white head #turbid. The aroma is fresh, juicy, peachy, nectarine, orange muffin, marmalade, candy and fruit salad sweets. The taste is smooth, crazy juicy, mellow bitterness, tangerine, orange, grapefruit, mild spice, green, grassy and dank with a dry, juicy finish. Well - rounded and juicy. Tasty and juicy hop juice.
