Bottle at home, 24th February 23. I remember my first Parabola, staggering around Bottlecraft in San Diego, up against time as it was closing, this is equally as amazing. Pours a rich black liquor. Aroma is molasses, liquorice, treacle, barrel, vanilla and wood. Taste is barrel, wood, liquor and vanilla, liquorice, roasted malts, light heat, black treacle, bitter, whiskey and rye. Blown away, amazing Imperial stout

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, some toffee, bourbon, alcohol and mild vanilla and mild dried fruity tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some toffeeish and mild roasted notes with a wee bit of toffee and some spiciness too. ABV shows a bit lurking, but doesn't give a huge burn or anything like that. Very nice.
