Cask at Curlers Rest in Glasgow. Dark clear red with an off-white head. Lightly sweetened traditional Scottish ale that edges towards a darker maltiness but is more red ale territory - regardless or nevertheless it's pretty tasty. Also tried again at the Last Drop in Edinburgh

Half cask at Bow Bar. ESB? Hmmm. Dark to clear amber, thin silky beige head, solid lacing. Malty aroma, toasty, smoky notes. Taste is malty, woody, faint peaty notes. Dries out a bit at the finish.
