Gravity cask at the 2019 Bedford Beer Festival. Mahogany and incredibly thin-looking. Flat. Bit nutty, malty scent, hints of spiced orange peel and carbo. Taste carries a gorgeous balance, with the sweetness paired with the sweet/bitter/sour interplay of overripe tangerine, and finishing with a hint of hazelnut. Flat as a pancake, but it was always gonna be. Nice.

Cask. Deep amber-brown color with creamy off-white head. Aroma is raisins, chocolate, toffee, fudge. Taste is raisins, chocolate, earthy, toffee, on the fruity side. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Quite tasty, nice harmony!

Cask at Crown Bar. Clear garnet with tan head that is small but lingers. Aroma is restrained crystal malt. Mostly a rich malt flavor with a tad too much bitterness offsetting the balance.

Pint from cask at Bow Bar, Edinburgh, with JR and RS 24.10.18. Clear amber copper. Diminishing beige head. Excellently balaced taste, with dark caramel, brittle, dates and soft hops. Appropriately uncarbpnated. Very quaffable.

Cask at Bow Bar. Pours clear deep amber. Aroma is slight caramel and pine needles, also rose petals. Body is full but not heavy, rather sweetly painted over background bitterness. Still malt forward with toasted flavours, all gentle and smooth. Usually characteristics I rather don't like, but here they harmonise perfectly. Dryish palate, but actually developing the full flavour profile only there. Outstanding for a bitter!
