Cask at many pubs. Clear amber/brown body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and stewed tea. Flavour of woody malt and a hint of strawberry. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. It’s a nice, sweet, beery beer.

8th July 2017: cask pint in Diggers, Edinburgh. Lovely looking beer, deep amber/brown bodied, full foaming white head. Malts rule the nose and taste but the hops play their part to nicely balance out the sweetness with a good bitterness and light fruitiness in the taste. Very, very drinkable for guys like me with a sweet tooth.

On cask at Three Tuns, Dronfield - Mahogany body under a low, off-white lacing head. Weak aroma of fruit-like malts. Plain malty initial taste, becoming more fruity and bitter towards the ending. Not too bad.

Cask at Haymarket. Pours clear brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee, raisins, caramel. Taste is more of the same. Gentle fruits come through, light, very light bitterness at the end. Mostly sweet raisins though. Good 80/.

Cask at PoW. It pours deep ruby with a small beige head. The nose is jammy, dark fruit, berry and candy. The taste is bitter-sweet, dark fruit, berry, wood, earth, wood and boiled sweets with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well rounded and rather drinkable. Decent.
