Nice Scottish cask ale. Very smooth. Malt forward. Caramel, a hint of dark fruit. Light herbal hops. Good.

From cask at The Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Toasted malt with caramel, some toffee, light dried fruit, some nuts. Moderate bittersweet flavour. Light body, easily drinkable.

A: hazy brown, thin, tan head.
A: peanut, caramel, toast, green tea, fig.
T: sweetish fig & raisin, caramel, toast, herbs.
F: herbal hops, dried fruits, toast.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Highly drinkable, relatively agreeable.
