What started life as a beautiful accident born of experimentation, has gone on to become one of our best-loved beers.
Unusual for this style, we brew it with a wheat yeast, but we love the added texture and fruitiness it brings, alongside the rich and roasted flavour from the malts. Carbonated using nitrogen for an extra rich drop.

Keg at Crate during RBESG. It pours near black with a thick, dense tan head. The nose is rich roast, toast, coffee, salted caramel and liquorice. The taste is bitter-sweet, chocolate, roasty, toast, earth, coffee and a touch pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth, rounded and pretty drinkable
