What started life as a beautiful accident born of experimentation, has gone on to become one of our best-loved beers.

Unusual for this style, we brew it with a wheat yeast, but we love the added texture and fruitiness it brings, alongside the rich and roasted flavour from the malts. Carbonated using nitrogen for an extra rich drop.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from the Drinkers’ Paradise. Pours clear, red-brown with a creamy beige cap. Plenty of well toasted brown bread in the nose, light roast, some milk chocolate. Light to medium sweet flavor, mild bitter earth, some further milk chocolate, light chalky cocoa, some toasty sugars and bread. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sweet toasted bread finish, hints of dirt, cocoa, mellow roast, slight minerals and char. A nicely rounded stout. Not the most complex beer in the world but highly drinkable and enjoyable.
