This year’s vintage is stacked with 3 tonnes of Shiraz grapes picked from Treeton Estate vineyard in the Margaret River region by our good pals at LS Merchants.
In true Beerfarm style, we wanted to make this Shirazzaweiss even better than the last, so we upped the ante and picked a whole other tonne of Shiraz grapes for this year’s brew. The grapes were rested on skins in anaerobic conditions for 3 days to ensure we extracted all the colour, tannins and complexities we love in this grape sour. LS merchants then pressed the grapes, giving us a rich, clean and devilish pinky-red nectar to work with.
Added to our Berliner Weisse base, this year’s Shirazzaweiss delivers earthy raspberry flavours perfectly complemented by a tart finish. Maintaining its trademark colouring, the Shirazzaweiss 2021 is as clean on the palate as it is to the eye.
Enjoy!

330ml can from the Beer Bank Sri Petaling. Poured a clear dark pink colour with a short-lived, fizzy off-white head. The aroma is big raspberries. The flavour is moderate sour, with a fresh, crisp, vinous, tart raspberry palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Refreshing.
