13/2/2019. Bottle from Warwick Real Ale, Warwick. Pours mid-brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of toffee, fruit, roasted malt, light chocolate and slight nut. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium plus body, rich oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, malty, roasted finish. A likable traditional dark ruby ale and my favourite of the three tried from this brewery.
