ROG IPA je uvařena ve stylu session IPA, což je lehčí varianta klasického stylu IPA. Pivo je proto příjemně osvěžující a pitelné, přičemž si zachovává bohatou, vyváženou chmelovou chuť a citrusovou vůni pivního stylu IPA.
Název piva je inspirován staroslovanským výrazem pro Roh hojnosti, který je symbolem úrodnosti a blahobytu. Právě proto se stal inspirací pro název nového piva ROG IPA, které je charakteristické svou bohatou chutí, osvěžující vůní a výraznou hořkostí.

Bottle. Pours clear light golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, with faint touches of citrus. Bitter flavour of hops and grass, with estery touches and malty hints. Bitter, metallic and estery aftertaste with acidic touches. Drinkable.

500ml Bottle - Golden in colour. Grass, lime and hints of blackcurrant and bread in the aroma. Tea, orange, bread and some grainy notes in the taste.

Bottle via Albert, Brno. Moderate oxidation going on, jumping right out of the bottle. Med-high bitterness, feels blunt though, a bit metallic. Light grainy astringency, light sweetness. Not much in terms of hops aromatics, the oxidation is killing it. There are vague med-light citrusy and grassy notes. Feels a bit watery, empty. Average at best, as far as IPAs go.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Can Crusher. Aroma of citrus, herbs, pine, caramel and flowers. Pours clear golden color with medium sized soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet malty, refreshing citrusy, herbal and resinous, following is bready, peppery and slightly astringent, mouthfeel is smooth and mild spicy, while finish is pretty bitter. Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Draught at Restaurace Terasa, Neratovice as Volba sládků březen 2022. Lightly cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- citrusy, candies, bergamot, herbal, spicy. FLAVOR- dry, moderately bitter, citrusy, herbal, floral. Medium bodied. Not bad.

Bottled 500ml. -from random Tesco Express Brno. Clear pale golden coloured, small white head, grainy nose with whiff of citrus. Generic citrusy, grainy, subdued piney and earthy with harsh bitter finish. More likely IPL than IPA.

# 2656; 11/2021. Malty, citrus and slightly cardoard aroma. Brilliant gold body; lacing white head. Citrus, passion fruit, resiny, slightly cardboard and coconut. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

Grundsätzich finde ich die Radegast-Biere recht würzig, so auch dieses. Es ist auf der einen Seite recht würzig für ein Session und recht mild für ein IPA. Es lässt sich gut trinken, ist aber nicht zu stark. Für den klassischen IPA-Freund ist es wohl eher langweilig, aber als gemütliches Feierabendbier kann ich es mir schon gut vorstellen.
