Draught @ Panema, Helsinki. Sweetish, slightly roasty and syrupy with some hazelnuts, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and toffee, hints of warming alcohol. Heavy and sweetish pastry stout. A bit harsh and not as smooth as some of the best ones.

(On tap @ Rbabarrab, Copenhagen, Feb 8/19) Pours pitch black with a big creamy head of pale tan froth and lots of lace. Notes of rather rich dark malt with toffee/caramel joined by a little molasses, sweet dark chocolate, light cacao bitterness, moderate plus hazelnut, dusty roast. Beyond mid-sweet at the start but dries up a fair bit in the middle of the sip with toasty nutty/cacao bitterness in the finish. Pretty full-bodied and creamy with very soft carbonation. Quite nice, liked the mouthfeel and it kept just on the right side of cloying pastry.
