An unlikely contender for best us state... Vermont is progressive and liberal, has 77% tree coverage and its own eponymous beer style. The juicy stone fruit ester profile combines perfectly with the dry hop flavours of tropical fruit, berries and pine for an east coast ipa as refreshing as the white snow and blue skies of the green mountain state.

On tap @ Beer Week in Budapest, Saturday session. Pours deep, clearish golden with white head. While the looks on this were pretty west coast, the nose and taste were rather NE-style; fruity and floral hops were all over it. Light bodied, extremely easy to drink.
