An unlikely contender for best us state... Vermont is progressive and liberal, has 77% tree coverage and its own eponymous beer style. The juicy stone fruit ester profile combines perfectly with the dry hop flavours of tropical fruit, berries and pine for an east coast ipa as refreshing as the white snow and blue skies of the green mountain state.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy orange pour, half finger creamy white head, medium lasting. Thick lacing on the glass. Strong herbal peppery nose, grapefruit and orange peel in the background. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. Very nice mouthfeel, smooth and creamy, chewy texture. Refreshingly balanced bittersweet taste and aroma. Quite fruity, strong citrus notes, lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange peel, pine. Mild caramel in the background, touch of herbal spiciness. Short to medium finish, moderately dry. Very good session IPA. Refreshing and tasty.
