Every August at the brewery, we roast thousands of pounds of Hatch green chiles for this beer. Frozen in giant tea bags, the green chiles are steeped in our light lager, post fermentation, for seven - ten days. The green chile infuses the beer with a mild roasted chile flavor and leaves you with just a hint of heat on the back end. Taste New Mexico!!

Tasting at Papsø
Hazy amber color, no head. Green smell, grassy, chilli peppers, dust. Anonymous Ale, with low bitterness, and maybe light chilli flavor; the final presents a very light chilli hot touch. Funny at the Mex restaurant, otherwise useless.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of byaeger. Pours a clear golden with no head. Thick chili aroma. Medium body, low carbonation, sweet malts but everything as a base of the chili pepper that never turns overly hot but only leaves a discreet bite. Decent. 100410

"Thanks" Skyview. Aroma of jalepeno with the flavor of green peppers. Undrinkable. Only a little heat, hardly any really.

Pale straw, bright. No head. Oops - chiles have oils, guys. You’ve made this beer long enough to know that. The aroma is roasted green chile mixed with crappy golden ale. Roasted hatch character, but gets greener and less tasty late. The chile does not really mix with the beer well.
