50cl swing top bottle.BB 03/2018. A almost clear dark golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of toasted malt, mild sweet malt and straw. Taste of mild sweet malt, mild grainy malt, toasted malt, straw, medium bitterness, okay!

Classical german Buegelverschlußflasche: Deep golden to light amber coloured, almost clear, medium-sized and slowly collapsing creamy (off-) white head; sweetish malty-grainy nose with some subdued "woody-toasty" traces; moderate sweet flavour with a very light bitterness, medium to full (!) bodied; lingering sweet malty-toasty finish with a mild, but distinctive and increasing (towards the end) "woody" hoppiness. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all a goody...

(swing top bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Rich malty, slightly bready aroma with notes of caramel and toasted grains. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly bready malt character with caramel, shades of grains, as well as subtle fruity notes; slightly herbal hoppy notes tune in towards the sweet and mildly bitter cara-malty finish. Good and rounded Spezial. 20.VII.17

Bottle on the train from Schwandorf, 14/07/17. Clear golden with a decent off white head. Nose is bready malts, light caramel, grains, fruit esters. Taste comprises sweet malts, caramel, light bread, biscuit crumbs, ftuit cake. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of booze. Ok.
