BYZANTINE is a saison with prominent aroma of fruits and spices as well as subtle notes of white wine, flowers and tropical fruits thanks to dry hopping with Hallertau Blanc and Nelson Sauvin hops. The fruity and spicy flavour is supported by soft malty notes. Dry, with moderate but clear bitterness.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Cloudy orange coloured body, patchy white head, rings of lace down the glass. Promising smell of saison fruit and soft malts, hints of spices. Well balanced taste of fruity hops, peaches, soft malts, and yeasty fruitiness, nicely spiced. Ends with a dry bitter fruity input. Mouthfilling. A pleasant surprise. (Tromsø 28.08.2021).

Gylden. Uklar. Høyt tett skum som daler veldig sakte. Aroma av krydder & appelsin. Smaken appelsinskall. Tørr. Tørr, lett syrlig bitter avslutning.

Beermalade online tasting. Unclear golden with thick white head. Yeast, esters, wheat, spices, light vinous sourness. Taste is very similar. Dry finish. Nice one.

Murky pale golden color with high white head. Aroma: fruity yeasty esters, orange peel, wheat, white wine. Taste: yeasty esters, dry, crispy, dry hop quite evident. Medium body, high carbonation, moderate bitterness. Tasty, enjoyed.

Barwa złota, zamglone, piana biała, dość obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie fenole, przyprawy. W smaku dość wytrawne, fenolowe, nieco chmielu. Goryczka, średnia, wysycenie i ciało w normie. Poprawny Saison, ale bez fajerwerków.
