Bottle. Clear golden, fine carbonation, tanned creamy head. Spicy herbal hop nose, forest honey malt. Medium to full dry fine sparkly body, cracker malt, light honey, good broad herbal hop counterpoint, light fruity sweetness retronasal, Very good Maibock.

50cl Bottle @ Supermarket close to brewery. Purchased late June. Pours copper Golden with a White head. Dandelion, orange , marmelade, sweet marzipan and bready malts. Alcohol warmth. Sticky. Short bitter finish. Excellent

Maibock von der Brauerei Rittmayer, Hallerndorf, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Orangegold, klar. - Nase satt hellmalzig mit breiter, zart karamelliger Malzsüße, Trockenaprikose, leicht bitterer Orangenmarmelade und feiner herbaler Hopfung, über allem eine leicht fuselig-herbe Süße. - Antrunk breit hellmalzig, fein brotig-karamellig und satt malzsüß. Zart fuselige Noten von fauligem Obst und Pfirsichkernen. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang knappe Hopfenherbe und zuviel Obst. - Wie fast alle übrigen Biere vom Rittmayer überzeugt mich auch dieses nicht: es fehlt die kernige malzige Tiefe und knackige Hopfung eines fränkischen hellen Bocks, dafür zuviel Obst und nur vage Herbe. bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, colore oro limpido, al naso miele malto frutta matura, in bocca miele malto cereali note erbacee dei luppoli, corpo rotondo, astringente, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato. Buona ma non entusiamante. c. Bottega della birra Arona 10.06.22

Bottle, Base Camp. Slightly hazy orange-golden body, the head didn't last long. Soft aroma, light light maltiness, dried fruit and orange notes, a touch more alcohol than expected. Soft, lean taste, ending dry without any bitterness. Soft, lean maltiness, pillowy, elegant but without much substance, just some carbonation prickliness. Light alcohol notes. Eh, not my type of bock, clean, by the book, but quite boring.

Fläschla: Deep golden, medium-sized lacy off-white head, moderate sweet-bitter aroma of pale-malt, honey and herbal hops with a certain rural-franconian touch underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft; lingering “bready”-malty finish with a delicate “rural” bitterness in the aftertaste. Decent, moreish, frängisch…

50cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a off-white head. Aroma of strong grainy pale malt, some honey and straw. Taste of mid sweet strong pale malt, honey, grains and straw.

Süffiger, süß malziger Beginn, der aber schwächer (in der Süße) als erwartet ist. Milde Herbe, leicht unterdurchschnittlich karbonisiert, rund. Könnte intensiver sein. Okay! 9/8/9/9/11/9

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Hazed orange gold, with a thin, dense, super sticky, creamy, just off white head. Looks glorious. Nose has sticky, sweaty grain. Fresh bread. Wet yeast. Sweet vine fruit. Taste is super sweet. Some fruity phenols. Light, herbal bitterness. Medium body has a fair amount of oiliness. Soft and foamy carbonation. Majority of any real bitterness comes at the end. Tasty gear but a bit heavy on the sweetness for me.
