500ml bottle from B&M. Hazy golden colour with a big white head. Aroma has more hop than I expected. Very refreshing flavour and with more hop. Not a standard lager.

Bottle from B&M. Clear gold. Minimal, white head. I’ve had a look at other ratings for this, and they seem quite favourable. I don’t get it though. Sweet, cloying and artificial. Can’t be bothered with the intricacies.

Bottle from Tesco, Enniskillen [180614]
Amber, clear, big frothy head, some lacing. Aroma of soft lemon, very slight spicy hop, soft sweet pale malt, no Marston minerals, soft nose
Taste of soft lemon, slight orange, soft sweet light caramel, clean flavour, light hops, better than expected for a lager but a tad bland
Palate - soft carb, light to medium body, bit oily, slightly creamy, soft sweet palate, slight bitterness. Finish as main flavour, very soft citrus, clean tail
Overall - Some soft citrus in there that’s quite nice, but it’s faint and it doesn’t taste as though it’s been dry-hopped. A bit dull, but as a lager it’s quite good

Bottle at home in London - picked up from Tesco in Hackney. Pours perfectly clear gold with a frothy white head. Decent aroma, some nice, lightly dried bread, slight cereal and hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with lightly toasted white bread, some burnt honey, toasty hay, mild citrus rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish, fairly clean, with further dry cereal, light bitter hay, some grains, orange rind. Pretty tasty overall. A touch watery at points but otherwise a nice, crisp lager.

50cl bottle from Tesco. I was pleasantly surprised by this. A straw coloured pour with a lasting finger of white head; some orange fruit and yeast on the aroma; a fresh citrus taste with a smooth grainy body; and a pithy, zesty, citrus finish. The taste reminds me of a Belgian Witbier.

Bottle courtesy of me on an NS tasting on the way home from Bodegraven. Poured a clear light amber with a broken bubbly white head. The aroma is stale malt with some floral citrus and a hint of caramel. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with a smooth malt hop zesty citrus palate and a short bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle shared by Jmgreenuk on another NS tasting. Pours clear dark golden with an off white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, grain. Flavour is moderate sweet, very much so for the style, and light to moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.
