Dull brownish colour, big frothy head. Lots of blackcurrant on the nose. Tart, the ale lends a fair bit of yeastiness but there's still that leathery, bretty lambic and of course a fair bit of cassis in there as well. Fairly bracing acidity in the finish.

Keg at 73 Enid Street, 31/08/23. Deep blackcurrant red topped with a dirty crimson cap that retains well. Nose is damp alleyway, straw, wood must, bramble berries, funk, vinous. Taste comprises barnyard, wood must, blackcurrant, funk, hedgerow, herb, dry rot, punchy red berry fruits, balanced acidic spike. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good puckering bite. Solid kit.

On tap at Meddlesome Moth, pours an opaque dark hot pink with a large pink-tinged white head. Aroma brings out light funk, blackberries and some leathery notes. Flavour is funky as hell, with lots of barnyard notes, blackberry pith, and some fairly dry fruitiness. Damn, that's a real nice funk character. Haven't had the bottled version yet, but this is damn nice. Excellent.

Draft at Foeders. Dull brown/reddish. Quite fruity up front, funk, earthy roast follows, soft tannins, sour fruity notes. Medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Quite nice, my favorite Rullquin so far I think.
