My first Pentrich! Pretty old, but you don't really notice. Lovely hazy DIPA, making excellent use of their hop combo. Soft, but with a bite. Nicely bitter, but hiding under a lightly sweet fruityness. Mango, apricot, pineapple and citrus. Good stuff.

Good, very dense light yellowish head over orangejuice-like beer. Rather sweet nose, orange & grapefruit, bit asafoetida, cakebottom. Perfumey flavour as guimauve, with more conventional citrus and hopbitterness. Bit vegetable bitterness in the finish, increasing. Well-bodied, fully hopoilslick, medium to good carbonation. Certainly not bad. But yet another proof excellence is less easily achieved the stronger the IPA is made.

Can 440ml (Beerdome BB 09/2021)
Murky orange colour, steady small head and some lace. Overriped apricot,, hemp, straw and earthy notes in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Flavour has overriped apricot, mango alcohol and citrus. Tolerable.

Creamy white head left a spotty cover on a hazy pale gold body. Musty, herbal & cat piss aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth & clean. Bitter, mango stone fruit, herbal & piney tastes. Outstanding

Can at home, from HOTM online, 14/02/21. Hazed orange with a decent lasting just off white cap. Nose is papaya, mango flesh, grapefruit, pineapple, mixed tropicana, sweet malts. Taste comprises pine resin, weed, orange pith, mango, tropical fruit medley, Um Bongo tickle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive juicy hop bitterness. Decent well balanced DIPA ... sweet edges but a bitter backbone ... return to form for Pentrich DIPA's after my last outing which was way over minerally in taste.
