Blueberry melomel which is, contradicotory to the name, not really blue (luckily). Made with 100g of blueberries per liter of mead. With a final gravity of 1.049 it's really sweet, and if that wasn't enough, vanille was added during primary fermentation. Our old friend Dr. Oetker came around to one last time ensure fermentatation, but after 12% ABV he pooped out as well.

Woohoo, another creation from the magician of Berkel! Very sweet, still plenty of unfermented honey, but that's not bad per se. Some blueberries give a hint of acidity and plenty flavour, vanilla smoothens it. Pity it's not blue.
