A Citra-Hopped Mega IPA of Intergalactic Proportions
This out-of-this-world Mega IPA is a galactic blast from the glass, a Citra supernova in the sky, jettisoning lupulin lusciousness through the cosmos and across the universe of your palate. Enter its bitter orbit and we’ll all float on, okay? Cheers!

Enjoyed on tap at the Lagunitas Seattle location. Grassy hop character, smooth and tasty. A clean golden appearance. Hoppy for sure, but not overly bitter. Nice citrus flavor without being overpowering. Easy drinking for an imperial. On board with this. A good beer, and just warming enough to really enjoy on the Seattle location patio during a slightly chill, sunny fall afternoon.

Shinagawa Intercity Oedo Festival tasting. Light yellow golden pour, some white foam on top. Fruity and crisp hop nose, tropics but also just some orange marmalade. Tastes light bitter, fruity and well balanced. Lingering bitterness, easygoing and tasty.

Really not what I was expecting here at all. What I find is a very basic straightforward slightly West Coast IPA of little distinction. It's an okay beer and that's about it. I'd seek this out over other Bland hoppy beers

Can pour into nonic pint glass from The City, Seabrook NH. Appearance is hazy, yellow/light brown/orange with decent sparkle, 2-finger width, foamy, off-white head with decent retention and nice, soapy lacing. Aroma is strong citrus/stone fruit, pine, dank. Taste is strong fruit balanced by equally strong resin bitterness, pine, mild herb. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and fairly dry mix of sweet and bitter as taste. Overall, some decent complexity and balance between sweet and bitter.

12 ounce can. Pours a kinda hazy orange hue with a medium white head. A big sticky sweet nose. Citrus, oranges, some soft bready banana esters base. Solid, doesn't really shine the way better IPAs do but it is good.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a vibrant dark golden color with a medium sized foamy yellow white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was strong pine with cactus and earthiness. The flavor was tangy with pine, earthiness, cactus, cat pee and orange. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Solid if not particularly memorable. Citras provide mild grapefruit and lemondrop notes, while a hefty malt backbone gives up caramel and slight hints of honey. Piney bitterness settles in on the finish, and the fade holds on to citrus notes with a resinous bite. A tad boozy for an 8% beer, but my pint didn't last very long. Tasty.
