12oz can. Poured a hazy orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light grain with a ton of reins, floral hops, nice juicy character. Flavor was super citrus, fruity. Light malty notes. Wow, this was a great beer, wonderful price point too.

$1.95 can, Wine Warehouse. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma is heavy fruit juice: mango, peach, pineapple, passion fruit... almost like opening a can of fruit cocktail in heavy syrup, along with some pine. Flavor is pine, mango, peach, orange peel, melon. Really nice, especially for the price point.

12oz bottle. Chock full of floaties, good idea to hide the beers inside a cardboard box. Drinks like a classic West Coast IPA/IIPA, at 8% not too overbearing. Rindy citrus notes. Straightforward, respectable enough aside from the floaties.

Pour is a slightly hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a o.k. pine and tropical fruit with a bit of onion in there. Flavor is some more minor tropical fruit with some melon and a hit of bitterness before the swallow. This was a decent beer, nothing really ground breaking here but this had some decent hops with a bit of a bitter bite sometimes missing in today's IPA's.

Draught at SF Corked at the airport. Overt citrus and pine aroma. Clear orange with minimal white head. Taste is heavy in the line and moderate high bitter that holds up well. A little boozy.

Bottle from J's. Pours a clear orange-gold with a finger of foam that dissipates and forms a ring. Classic Citra nose with lychee, lime, tangerine and mild gooseberry aromas dominate. Well-balanced with sweet malt and honey notes along side more tangerine and lychee. Lingering mango and lychee on the palate with some astringent tropical fruit skin notes. Pretty solid, but doesn't hit the highs of other Citra heavy beers.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/19/2018. Pours fairly cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Mild increasing warmth of 8% after the finish. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV wit hthe mellowly bitter/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Citra was definitely more earthy/peppery than expected. Great balance of juicy, dank, and earthy hop complexity, with a nice bready malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with matching lingering bitter dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Citrus/earth aroma. Medium plus body. Flavor is citrus and some earthy dankmess. Roasty malt is detectable. Towards dry; very hoppy; pretty bitter. Good ale.
