Fermented it with a Belgian Trappist yeast from the Rochefort monastery, provides Brun Sovs notes of prunes and red apples, which is traditionally used in the stuffing for the Danish chrismas-dinner bird. Full-bodied for its modest strength, malt-forward with hints of dark fruits, burned sugar, and a short dry finish that makes you want to take another sip.

Clear copper, tan head. Aroma of red berries, bread crust and malt. Taste is complex, berries, malt, yeast and wood. Resembles a begian triple. Tasty! With JMD

Tap at the Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is yeasty, caramel and nuts. The flavour is moderate sour, with a smooth, big yeasty, light tart fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Interesting.

On tap at Axiom, Brno. Orange brown with medium off white head. Malty, caramel, yeasty, sweetish. Not really a brown ale but a mess. Bland. Tastes like failed homebrew.
