Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, minor head. Aroma is roasted, some alcohol, liquorice and very very sweet. Flavour is smoked, some alcohol, liquorice and some alcohol an mild strange sweetishness.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, small brown head. Citric nose with yeasty lemon. Sweet and sour with full body and rounded, viscous mouthfeel. Lemon, citric acid and licorice, some treacle and sherry. Infected, otherwise it would likely have been good.

ABV: 12.5%. Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, molasses, chocolate, dark fruit, wood, soy sauce. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, molasses, dark malt, sweet malt, dark fruit, blackcurrant. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210429]

Inky black, dark espresso head. The aroma is thick luscious dark caramel and treacle, roast acidity or top, slightly oaky acid fruity sherry barrel notes. Very clean and smooth. Similar taste - sweet, yet with balanced roast and alcool, almost no hops. Good balance despite lack of hops - the cleanliness, oaky notes and alcohol does the job. Still, a bit too sweet.
